Martine de Clermont-Tonnerre
Until 1991, Martine de Clermont-Tonnerre worked as a great reporter for the French television. At the same time, between 1976 and 1979, she co-produced "Caméra-Je", a film series for the Institut National de l’Audiovisuel (INA) (film directed by Raoul RUIZ, Ricardo FRANCO, Philippe COLIN, Patrick JEUDI...). From 1979 to 1981, she prepared a collection of films dedicated to the news items for the Société Française de Production (SFP). In 1981, she incorporates Antenne 2, a French National TV Channel under the presidence of Pierre Desgraupes and copresents the TV show "A nous deux" for many years. She stays at Antenne 2 until 1991, producing notably "1.2.3" with Fabienne Pascaud, a programme dedicated to theatre news.
In 1992, she creates with her husband Antoine de Clermont-Tonnerre, the film production company MACT PRODUCTIONS. Together they have produced or co-produced more than 40 feature films including Central Station by Walter SALLES, Baril de Poudre by Goran PASKALJEVIC, Comedy of Innocence by Raoul RUIZ, Le Pont des Arts by Eugène GREEN, Nue Propriété by Joachim LAFOSSE or LEMON TREE by Eran Riklis to name but a few...
Since 1992, she regularly participates in film commissions at the Centre National de la Cinématographie et de l’image animée (CNC) (avance sur recettes, aide à l’écriture et à la réécriture...).

Antoine de Clermont-Tonnerre
After working as an adviser for Prime Minister Raymond Barre, Antoine de Clermont-Tonnerre went on to become chairman of the Société Française de Production (SFP) in January 1979. Two years later, he was appointed President of the media group Éditions Mondiales. He extended the group’s activities into the film and television sector with the creation of Revcom in 1984 and the acquisition of Les Films Ariane in 1986.
While working at SFP, he initiated the production of Le Retour de Martin Guerre directed by Daniel VIGNE. For Les Films Ariane he produced, among other films, Vanille Fraise by Gérard OURY, La Révolution Française (The French Revolution) by Robert ENRICO and Richard HEFFRON, and co-produced Cinema Paradiso by Giuseppe TORNATORE, La Famiglia (The Family) by Ettore SCOLA, and Reunion by Jerry SCHATZBERG.
In January 1992, he founded with his wife Martine de Clermont-Tonnerre, the film production company MACT PRODUCTIONS. Since 1992, Antoine de Clermont-Tonnerre has been President of "La Chambre syndicale des producteurs", Vice-President of the "avance sur recettes" commission and President of Unifrance since January 2009.
